Knox knot captive lid flask (pf50)

Solid lead-free pewter with embossed Celtic design on one side. Attached screw top with internal seal to prevent leakage. Rounded base, more suitable for the pocket. Supplied with a small plastic filling funnel.
This flask has been made by skilled craftspeople, using traditional spinning techniques. It will last a lifetime if treated with care. Caution: this item is NOT dishwasher safe. High temperatures and cleaning agents will damage the pewter.
Archibald Knox (1864-1933) was born on the Isle of Man. He was active in the Arts and Crafts movement, which paralleled Europe's Art Nouveau era of the early 20th century. His designs reflect the Celtic tradition and his belief in functionalism and simplicity of design.
