Heart vine small picture frame - engraved (wed-CF60)

Nickel-plated brass frame with solid wood back. Engraved heart and vine design in two corners. At the back there is a wood insert with a hinged stand which unclips to allow insertion of a picture behind the glass front. All wood has a burgundy, high gloss finish. Can be used for landscape or portrait pictures.

Hearts represent love in all its many aspects and they are also seen as symbolising having heart, the power of courage and will. To the ancient Egyptians it was the heart, rather than the brain, which was seen as the organ that held the person's mind and soul.
