Large, simple, polished pewter ankh on black faux suede thong.
The ankh is a hieroglyphic sign for the word ‘life’. It was commonly used as an amulet to bring luck and protect the wearer from danger. Often worn as necklaces and pendants, ankhs could be very simple or quite decorative.
